Léon Félix is a designer working in Lausanne, Switzerland. He is interested in the narrative potential of materials and he likes to experiment with different techniques. He studied at ECAL (École cantonale d’art de Lausanne), from which he graduated in industrial design in June 2022. He currently divides his time between the design practice and a job as a craftsman in the ECAL’s model workshop. In his personal practice, he works on various research started in the last years, aiming to establish a relationship between technique, material and use. With as moto a will to transform the passive consumer into an engaged user. Léon Félix also collaborates with different artists and designers he met during his studies with whom he discovered a complementarity, together they develop a common language on projects ranging from publishing to micro-architecture.
