The Geneva-based Michelangelo Foundation presents a special showcase celebrating the creative results of its Homo Faber Fellowship, which pairs emerging craft talents with master artisans for a six-month period of collaboration and co-creation. By facilitating the intergenerational transfer of knowledge and skills, this professional integration programme is an example of the Foundation’s mission to celebrate, promote and preserve diverse craft traditions from one generation to the next. The final collection of pieces made during this second edition of the Fellowship highlights the connection between craft, art and design, the power of collaboration and the necessity of recognising craft’s viability as a professional path for future generations.
