ECAL X ECAL

Focused on collaboration across multiple layers, ECAL X ECAL looks at Justus Hilfenhaus’ own experience as a student and the school’s identity as a creative partner. By engaging with the school’s architecture, the designer integrates objects within its spaces to simultaneously enhance functionality and aesthetics. Operating with a hyper-local focus, the project harnesses the creativity of the school’s artisans while blending it with small-scale craftsmanship. Resulting in functional, crafted objects that enrich daily interactions and teamwork, it builds upon the collaborative spirit of ECAL’s existing communal spaces.
