BADDANCE WITH THEBADWEEDS

BADDANCE WITH THEBADWEEDS is an interactive media installation created by Rocio Berenguer and commissioned by mudac as part of Soleil.s – Solar Biennale 2, simultaneously on show in Lausanne. Centred on the idea that design must consider the interconnections between all life on Earth, this installation emphasizes collaboration as the essence of life. Visitors are invited to immerse themselves in the world of the trans-species hip-hop group, THEBADWEEDS. Part-human, part-vegetal, these beings embody the resilience and power of weeds, using humour and music to explore themes of ecological resistance and community-building. Through this experience, participants witness how these hybrid beings blend human and vegetal cultures, delivering a simple yet powerful message: ‘THE FUTURE IS VEGETAL.’
